Benefit structure
Value, cadence, reset window, enrollment, and material usage conditions.
Data methodology
Benefit terms move. Enrollment rules differ. Some details depend on the account in front of you. This is the maintenance standard kardfolio uses to distinguish a current fact from a useful caution.
Methodology reviewed August 1, 2026
The public catalog focuses on card-level benefits and fees that help someone decide what to track and revisit. Your own eligibility, targeted offers, cardmember year, enrollment state, and issuer interpretation can change the result.
Value, cadence, reset window, enrollment, and material usage conditions.
Annual fee, issuer, product family, and the card version the entry describes.
Facts that help frame renewal and usage—not a personalized financial verdict.
Your issuer agreement and account view remain authoritative for your account.
The most specific current official source wins. When two official sources conflict, kardfolio does not silently pick the more generous interpretation: the entry should be narrowed, marked for review, or withheld until the conflict is resolved.
Source maintenance ledger
The hierarchy is applied to each fact, not once to an entire card.
Current issuer benefit terms, offer terms, and official program documents lead when they address the exact fact.
PrimaryOfficial card and benefit pages add eligibility, enrollment, redemption, and timing context.
CorroboratingOfficial Visa, Mastercard, and American Express network materials apply only to network-provided benefits.
ScopedIssuer support can clarify ambiguity, but a single conversation does not override published written terms.
SecondaryReputable reporting can flag a change for review; it is not our final authority for card terms.
Discovery“Reviewed” means the applicable source was checked for the stated fact on that date. A database update timestamp, import time, or unrelated page edit is not presented as verification. Fact-level source notes are being expanded across the catalog; where they are absent, the page should not imply more certainty than the record supports.
Value, cadence, enrollment, and restrictions may have different source dates.
Legacy products and targeted account variants are not treated as one card.
Status language separates a usable current record from a transition or unresolved exception. It is information about the record—not a quality score for the card.
Checked against the applicable official source and not known to be changing.
A published change has a future or phased effective date.
Eligibility or value can differ by offer, account, or product version.
The source or fact needs another check before it should be relied on.
Official sources conflict or a material interpretation remains unresolved.
The benefit or product is no longer offered for the version described.
High-change benefits and announced transitions need closer review than stable definitions. Material corrections should update the affected record and its review state; they should not be hidden behind a generic “last updated” date.
Priority follows volatility, user impact, and known issuer transition windows.
Issuer announcements, user reports, and source conflicts reopen the record.
kardfolio is not the issuer and cannot guarantee account-level eligibility.
Reports are checked against official sources before public data is changed.
